Volunteer Orientation

Volunteer orientation training day for new and returning volunteers will be on Saturday 07 December, at Horseshoe Valley Resort, 1101 Horseshoe Valley Rd W, Barrie

We will meet at the building in which the Ski Patrol operates out which is located slope side, on the south end of the resort. (Next to the ‘Lake’ and pass the main chalet and hotel and is sometimes referred to as the ‘Red Barn’ or ‘Red Building’)

Registration will starting at 8:30am, with ready to ski at 9:00am.

Due to another event within the building, during the morning, we will conduct the on slope training sessions in the morning, with an indoor session in the afternoon.

The Horseshoe team would also like to invite other CADS programs who wish to join us on our December 7 Orientation. Please email HorseshoeCADS@gmail.com, with the name of your group, contact information, number of volunteers who will be in attendance. Please send this information to us by Wednesday December 4 2019 as we will need to inform the Resort.

Note: If Ski rental equipment is required, this will be the volunteers responsibility to obtain before morning session begins. Please allow for time for obtaining this equipment. Equipment rentals are location within the main chalet.
