29 Mar SCI Ontario Ski Day
On Thursday February 11 Spinal Cord Injury Ontario held their 16th Annual Ski & Snowboard Day at Craigleith Ski Club.
On a cold snowy morning with a ski hill covered with a blanket of fresh snow, 9 volunteer CADS Instructors along with their counterparts from Track 3 showed up to give their time to 13 participants with spinal cord injuries the opportunity to try Sit-Skiing.
Using Mountain Man and Bi-Unique sit skis they hit the slopes of Craigleith giving the participants the joy and freedom of skiing.
As the ski day came to a end the sun broke thought the over cast sky but it had nothing on the bright shiny smiles from 13 happy participants that lite up the ski chalet at Craigleith.
