2018/19 Race News Recap

2018 – 19 has been a block buster race year for Para Alpine Ontario, with great representation from former CADS program members!

Ontario Parasport Winter Games

Ontario ParaSport Winter Games was held in Durham in February, and Brimacombe did an amazing job of hosting. All racers were CADS participants, and had a great time!

Canada Games 2019

Para Alpine Ontario proudly took our quota of two males and two females to Canada Games in Nakiska, as part of Team Ontario. All four of our members have learned to ski through our CADS programs at Horseshoe, Calabogie, Sir Sam’s and Craigleith!

Canadian National Championships

Were held in Winterpark Colorado this April, with significant representation from Ontario. In addition to our Canada Games athletes, Sarah Gillies (Mansfield FIS) made and impressive appearance, getting to the podium in SL, GS and SG! Sarah is aiming to be a contender at the next Paralympics!
