The Eastern Precourse was held at Calabogie Peaks resort December 14-17, 2017. CADS offered a Para Race prep module given by the Para Race Development coach Mark Newton. Any new CADS Level 3 candidate was invited to challenge the Course Conductor process. Any Level 1 Course Conductor was invited to challenge the Level 2 Course Conductor process. Any snowboard Course Conductor was invited to challenge the Level 1 Course Conductor process.
On Thursday a train the trainer development session was offered for skiing and snowboarding. All of the facilities were large enough to host our Group. Calabogie Adaptive supplied all the necessary equipment. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. The facility was very clean and the food was good. The resort opened for us with one chairlift and one magic carpet.
