Student Profile – Camryn LeClair

Camryn enjoying her sit-skiCamryn LeClair was a student with your program at Horseshoe this winter for the first time. She is non verbal and has no muscular control at all including her head. She skied with Angus, Kevin, Ashley and my husband Wilfrid. On her school trip day she skied with Angus, David and Wilfrid. This has been an absolutely amazing experience for Camryn. She loved it. Angus and Kevin were so compassionate and caring, She would smile as soon as she heard Angus s voice. He talked to her all the way up the lift and did everything he could to make the experience enjoyable. It was often difficult to make her comfortable in the sit-ski considering her disabilities but they always worked it out. We are so thankful for this wonderful organization and the wonderful people who volunteer their time and make such a difference in someone s life. Saturdays will not be the same now. We really hope that Camryn can get into the program next year. It has make a huge difference in her life.
